Survey results indicate that 97% of CEOs expect generative AI to have a significant impact on their organizations in the future. At the same time, 96% of respondents are considering how this technology can be used to optimize future employee workflows and support processes, while 99% plan to make further investments in this area. The main application scenarios of generative artificial intelligence include personalized service recommendation, knowledge management, quality control, and research and development, etc. These are the current common focuses of enterprises.
Abhijit Dubey, CEO of NTT Data, emphasized that generative artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming an important force in the technology-driven economy, and he believes that this is a critical moment in history. The survey shows that two-thirds of business leaders believe that generative artificial intelligence will bring major transformation to the business in the next two years, improving productivity, efficiency, sustainability, compliance, business processes and employee experience.
However, despite being confident about the prospects of generative artificial intelligence, companies still face many challenges in practical applications. According to the survey, 90% of business leaders believe that legacy infrastructure limits the effective use of generative AI. While 83% of respondents have clear strategies in place, 51% of companies have yet to align these strategies with their overall business plans. David Pereira, chief generative artificial intelligence officer for NTT Data Europe and Latin America, pointed out that companies should integrate generative artificial intelligence strategies with business strategies and create a suitable corporate culture to more effectively implement Address business challenges.
