Recently, at the annual business event "The Year-end of the Year of the Ox" initiated by Feng Lun, founder of Wantong Real Estate, Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, was invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled "What should enterprises do in the era of big model?" In his speech, Zhou Hongyi discussed in depth how enterprises should respond and use artificial intelligence (AI) to transform and upgrade in the context of the continuous development of big model technology.
Zhou Hongyi pointed out that the industrial development of the big model is evolving in two directions. The first direction is to rely on powerful computing power, massive data and parameters to explore and create super artificial intelligence (ASI) that can surpass humans in all aspects. This direction represents an extreme technological breakthrough, with the goal of creating an all-around model with a greater intelligence than human beings. The second direction is to give up the obsession with creating an all-round big model, apply the big model to specific fields, and focus on solving a single task. This means that the model will be smaller and more efficient, with lower computing power requirements, and more cost-effective, which meets the needs of practical applications.

Zhou Hongyi further explained that the second path is to develop towards scenario-based, application-based, specialized and vertical, which is an important development direction for the future of large-model technology. He vividly compared this direction to transforming the big model from an atomic bomb to a "tea egg". This transformation not only means simplification of technology, but also represents the effective implementation of artificial intelligence in practical applications.
He emphasized that with the continuous breakthroughs in global AI technology, the focus of the AI industry has shifted from the technology research and development of large models and infrastructure construction to a more pragmatic application implementation stage. He believes that super artificial intelligence (ASI) is still a competitive field for a few technology giants around the world, but more innovation opportunities actually exist in the practical application of AI technology. Enterprises should pay more attention to how to transform large-model technology into practical application scenarios in order to promote the transformation and upgrading of their own businesses.
