Against the backdrop of the increasing development of artificial intelligence technology, China has ushered in an important milestone in the marine field. On March 24, the Ministry of Natural Resources of China announced that the first domestic business-oriented vertical domain model "Hanhai Zhiyu" was officially released and successfully passed the expert review. The launch of this model not only provides strong technical support for the intelligent transformation of the marine industry, but also marks an important step in my country's application of marine artificial intelligence.
"Hanhai Zhiyu" is jointly developed by the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center, Ocean Publishing House Co., Ltd. and 360 Digital Security Technology Group Co., Ltd., and is based on two large models, 360 Intelligent Brain 13B and Deepseek-R1-70B. Compared with the general large language model, "Hanhai Zhiyu" performs better in the professional knowledge, industry terms and application capabilities of the marine field. It can efficiently complete a variety of tasks such as content generation, knowledge questions and answers, information retrieval, policy analysis, and popular science publicity, demonstrating its highly professional artificial intelligence capabilities.

At present, "Hanhai Zhiyu" has been tried in many marine-related institutions, universities and scientific research institutions, and has received widespread praise. The research team said that in the future, it will continue to promote the expansion of this big model technology in natural resources-related fields, and plans to launch more professional big models for various industries, and feature Chinese content to further promote the intelligent process of the ocean and other related industries.
With the release of "Hanhai Intelligence Language", the application of artificial intelligence in China's marine field will usher in a broader development space, providing more accurate technical support for scientific research, policy formulation and industry development, and helping my country's position in global marine governance continue to improve.
