Due to the fact that some font packages are currently only available for downloading on Baidu and other network disks, the download speed is very slow and the file capacity is very large, which discourages many fellow friends.
In view of this, this repo is designed to back up and provide another space to download a small number of required subtitles.
This font library is for personal use only and is strictly prohibited for commercial use.

Although the Super Font Integration Pack X can meet the playback needs of most subtitles, it is too large to be suitable for all installations. In fact, 90% of the subtitles only use 10% of the fonts. Therefore, we added a thin package for this update.
On the premise of limiting the volume, the streamlined package is produced based on the frequency of the font appearing in the subtitles and the character selection habits of each subtitle group in the later stage, and also considers the needs of simple and traditional users and subtitle later stages, which is enough to cope with most situations. It is recommended to install all of them.
A streamlined package requires as many needs as possible with as few fonts as possible, while a full package strives to meet all needs. In this update, we have further expanded the fonts of mainstream manufacturers and classified them according to the manufacturer and language and the characteristics of the font systems of different manufacturers. The complete package is recommended as a warehouse, and is used with the three included gadgets instead of all installations.
FontLoader is a temporary font loading tool. When you drag the font up, it will be loaded. If you close the program, the font will be automatically unloaded.
ListAssFonts is a gadget made by Tonyhsie, a netizen in the VCB-Studio forum. It can list the fonts used in ass/ssa subtitles and use colors to distinguish whether it has been installed. It can also list all fonts installed on the system and export font files. In the traditional system, the subtitles that may be missing characters can also be exported. FontLoaderSub is a gadget made by VCB-Studio forum netizen yzwduck. If you place the program in the folder where the font is located, then drag the ass/ssa subtitles or the folder where the subtitles are located onto the program, the font used in the subtitles will be automatically loaded, and if you close the program, you will unload the temporarily loaded fonts. Why is it better not to overwrite if the system prompts that it is installed when installing fonts?
System fonts and interface fonts of some software have version requirements. If you replace them with another version, it may cause the system or software interface to be misaligned or even crashed.
Why is it recommended to select "Install for all users" when installing fonts?
Windows 10 has allowed users to install fonts into their user accounts since the 1809 version, and replaced the default "install" option with this new installation method, and changed the old installation method to "install for all users" (the option is in the right-click menu). However, many software (such as Aegisub) does not support this new installation method and cannot recognize fonts installed in the new way.
What will happen if too much font is installed?
Some software requires pre-read fonts at startup, and their startup time may become longer and may be stuttered when selecting fonts, such as Aegisub and Office.
Why do some web pages display abnormally after installing fonts?
Some websites give higher priority to certain fonts, which will occur in two situations. One is that these fonts render differently on Windows and Mac, which may look better on Mac, but will be false on Windows; another situation is missing words, such as the website gives a higher priority to Japanese fonts, and the language you choose is Chinese, so the characters that both Chinese and Japanese will be displayed in this font. The characters that have Chinese but do not have Japanese are another font or cannot be displayed. The solution to this problem is to install a font management plugin for the browser to adjust the priority of web fonts, or uninstall the fonts that cause this problem. The most common font that causes this problem is Hiragino Sans GB (also known as Holly Black, Apple Black).
Why are some fonts not installed?
If you are using Windows 7/8/8.1, it may be because the font file is incorrect; if you are using Windows 10, and most of the fonts cannot be installed, it may be because the relevant services are not opened. Please Baidu/Google for specific solutions. If you are only a small number of fonts, it is likely that these fonts are incompatible with Windows 10, and many fonts in Wending are incompatible with Windows 10.
My system disk space is tight, so what should I do if I don’t want to install the fonts on the system disk?
You can also select "Install as shortcut". You must check "Allow shortcuts to install fonts" in "Control PanelAppearance and PersonalizationFontFont Settings". In this way, the installation of the system disk is just a shortcut, and the font is still in its original location. However, after booting up, the system may scan your font files again, so it may be a little stuck in the ten seconds after booting up, and the path to storing the fonts cannot be changed (if you want to change, the system will prompt that the folder is in use).
What are the differences between OTF, TTF, and TTC fonts?
A TTC font is a collection of multiple fonts (can be TTF or OTF). OTF fonts have theoretically better curves and some advanced features, but currently only the Adobe series and professional design software such as C4D and Maya are known to fully support advanced OTF features. In addition, the GDI (including ClearType) rendering, which is still widely used on Windows, is far less effective than TTF fonts. Our commonly used subtitle renderers libass and VSFilter do not support bolding of OTF fonts. Even if you set bolding in the subtitles, if you install OTF fonts, the display effect will not be bold. Only a few numerical fonts (such as Siyuan bold, Siyuan Song font, Founder Yashi Black, etc.) will automatically call the font with the Bold font when setting bolding in the subtitles. The characteristics of these fonts are that the Regular font weight and the Bold font weight are the same name in the font drop-down list. In Aegisub, you need to select the name of the Regular font weight and then check the bold to call the Bold font weight. Of course, you can also call it by manually entering the name of the Bold font weight, such as "Siyuan Song font Bold". OTF fonts with the same font size will be smaller than those with TTF fonts. Therefore, we recommend that you prioritize the installation and use of TTF versions when a font has both OTF and TTF versions. (Note: Although TTF and OTF do correspond to TrueType and OpenType respectively in the name, the common TTF fonts are actually the TrueType Outline fonts of OpenType Layout, and generally speaking, OTF fonts actually refer to the PostScript Outline fonts of OpenType Layout.)
What is the difference between CJK version and regional version?
The same Chinese character may be written in different regions such as mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea. The CJK version contains all characters in simplified, traditional, Japanese and Korean, but when you encounter Chinese characters with different writing styles in different regions, you will give priority to display the version of the characters in one region. The regional version is the version that only contains the characters in this region. In addition, the traditional Chinese font standards in Hong Kong have been revised, so new fonts and old fonts are also divided into the font package. Therefore, we recommend that you prefer the CJK version or region version of the target region when making subtitles, rather than any CJK version, although it already contains all characters.
What are Pro-6(N), Pro-5(N), Std(N), GB18030, GBK, GB2312-80, GB12345-90, BIG5?
These are character set standards that specify which characters should be included in a font. Pro-6(N), Pro-5(N), and Std(N) are Japanese standards, GB18030, GBK, GB2312-80, GB12345-90 are simplified Chinese standards, among which GB12345-90 is simple and traditional, and BIG5 is traditional Chinese standard. On the number of characters contained Pro-6(N) > Pro-5(N) > Std(N), GB18030 > GBK > GB2312-80. It is generally believed that GB18030 and GBK contain enough simplified and traditional characters at the same time, and can be used to simplify and traditional Chinese characters.
What is "pseudo GBK"?
"PseudoGBK" are fonts that claim to be common in simple and traditional Chinese, but are actually far from reaching the number of characters specified in the GBK standard. These fonts lack a large number of traditional Chinese fonts, and even common characters, so we do not recommend using these fonts in traditional Chinese subtitles.
A font has both Pro-6(N), Pro-5(N), and Std(N) versions. Can I only install one of them?
If you are using subtitles, you only need to install the version with the largest number of characters, but if you are using other subtitles to play subtitles, only the version written in the subtitles can be called, because ass/ssa subtitles load the font according to the font name, and the font names of different character set versions are different. This rule also applies to GB18030, GBK, GB2312-80, GB12345-90, BIG5, etc. The font package also retains the new and old fonts of the wordmaking workshop and the Bold versions of Siyuan bold font weights of the 1.004 and 2.001 versions of the same name. In addition, Google's Noto series fonts are Adobe's Siyuan series fonts, but their names are different and they are all retained.
What are Huakang's "external characters" and "external characters with name marks"?
"ビブロス Foreign Characters" include some characters such as graphics, symbols, rare Chinese characters, combined Chinese characters, etc. These characters are already included in the Pro-6(N) standard. "People's Name Marking" contains different variants of Japanese Chinese characters, mainly used for personal names.
What are the differences between Senze’s A-OTF, G-OTF, U-OTF, and AP-OTF?
A-OTF is a standard Japanese glyph; G-OTF is a font with a different font shape, and is more common in sub-supply animations and some educational programs; U-OTF is a standard for printing glyphs for newspapers, and the difference from A-OTF is mainly due to the different characters appearing in person and place names; AP-OTF is a font that optimizes the display effect by adjusting the character spacing.
Why should I use the fonts under the "Careful Use" folder with caution?
These fonts are all third-party magic-modified fonts, and there are some problems. We also recommend not to use such fonts. For example, "Chamtronic Black" is a third-party fake font, made up of several fonts, and the shape of some characters is wrong, not a font produced by Founder; the Family attribute of "Bear and Rabbit Meteor" is "Heiti SC". After installation, the words that should have been displayed in "Bold" on the web page may be displayed in "Bear and Rabbit Meteor".
Why is "Holly Bold Simplified Chinese" placed in the folder "Simplified Chinese"?
"Wolfgreen Bold Simplified Chinese" is indeed in line with the GB18030 standard and can be simplified and common.
