Photoshop deals with bitmaps, and the pen tool is the only vector tool in Photoshop. This tool may seem a bit overwhelming when you first come into contact with it, but once you understand how it works, you will gradually appreciate its beauty. Hopefully this little tip will be a little helpful for you to use this tool.
First, hold down the Pen Tool button with your mouse. You will see another toolbar pop up, both of which belong to the Pen Tool. Now we will introduce their usage one by one.

Pen Tool: Often used to create some complex lines, it can be used to draw very precise curves.

Magnetic Pen Tool: Just like a magnet, it attracts the edges. You don't have to be careful and draw the outline slowly. The premise is that the edges of the object must be very clear.

Freeform Pen Tool: Draws lines as if you were drawing them with a pencil on paper.

Add Anchor Point Tool: You can add new anchor points on any path. It's those little dots on the line.

Delete Anchor Point Tool: You can delete any anchor point on the path.

Direct Selection Tool: You can change the direction of the line. If you draw it wrong, use it to correct it.

When you are using the Pen Tool, you can press the Ctrl key at any time to switch to the Free Pen Tool.
Convert Point Tool: You can turn a smooth curve into a straight line and vice versa.
