Chongqing First Social Welfare Institute and Chongqing Mashang Technology Development Foundation jointly launched the first large-scale elderly care robot in the country. In terms of emotional companionship, the robot uses multimodal emotional models to accurately understand the psychological state and personality characteristics of the elderly through facial recognition, emotion recognition and speech recognition technologies. It not only provides accompanying chat and psychological counseling services, but also helps the elderly to relieve their longing for their family and add warmth and comfort in their old age through two-way video calls and cloning digital family companionship.
In terms of improving digital literacy, robots will tailor digital skills training for the elderly, guide them to learn practical skills such as online browsing, online shopping and telemedicine consultation, helping them cross the digital divide and better integrate into modern society.
In terms of health and safety protection, robots can monitor the psychological state and emotional changes of the elderly for a long time, promptly predict psychological crises and self-harm risks, and send early warning information to the guardian. At the same time, it can also monitor the physical health of the elderly in real time, including key indicators such as heart rate and breathing, ensuring the physical and mental safety of the elderly.
