With the rapid development of medical technology today, Baichuan Intelligent, Beijing Children's Hospital and Pediatric Fang Health, has jointly launched the world's first pediatric model - the "Futang Baichuan" pediatric model. This innovative model not only covers the knowledge system of common and difficult diseases in children, but also has strong clinical reasoning capabilities, aiming to provide children with scientific and personalized diagnosis and treatment plans.
The highlight of the "Futang·Baichuan" pediatric model is that it pioneered the "evidence-based model" of pediatrics. The design philosophy of this model is to integrate the best medical evidence to guide diagnosis and treatment like a professional pediatrician. This means that when doctors use this model, they can make clinical decisions based on scientific basis, thereby improving the quality of medical services.
In order to effectively alleviate the pressure on pediatric medical services in grassroots hospitals, Baichuan Intelligent has also launched two versions of applications - the "AI Pediatrician" expert version and the grassroots version. These applications will be combined with the four national regional medical centers hosted by Beijing Children's Hospital. With the help of the power of medical alliance, it will cover community hospitals in Haidian District, Economic and Technological Development Zone, and more than 150 county-level hospitals in Hebei Province, and strive to promote the practical application of artificial intelligence in grassroots pediatric medical care.

At the same time, the model also integrates the clinical experience of more than 300 well-known pediatric experts from Beijing Children's Hospital and high-quality medical records that have been desensitized. On this basis, the model has been strengthened in evidence-based, reasoning, memory, dialogue and multimodality, so that it can independently conduct multiple rounds of consultations and patiently answer questions when communicating with patients' parents.
More importantly, in order to ensure that the model can accurately find relevant literature, Baichuan Intelligent has also established a highly credible evidence-based medical knowledge base, including more than 40,000 Chinese and English guidelines and expert consensus, more than 38 million scientific research papers, and nearly 170,000 drug instructions. The construction of this knowledge base provides doctors with rich reference materials, making the "Futang·Baichuan" big model more accurate and effective in practical applications.
