Alibaba Cloud recently announced that it has reached strategic cooperation with 10 universities and government agencies including the National University of Singapore and the Thailand Digital Economy Promotion Agency to jointly launch AI and cloud computing training courses. This cooperation covers seven major Asian countries and regions including Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong, China, and aims to cultivate digital talents for the local area and promote the rapid development of the regional digital economy.
In Singapore, Alibaba Cloud will jointly build Skills Center with the National University Institute of Operations Research and Analysis and the Hongjian International School of Management. The center will provide cutting-edge training courses in the field of big data and AI for students and on-the-job professionals. Professor Zhang Junbiao, Executive Director of the National University of Singapore, said that this cooperation will help optimize teaching content, help students better master AI and big data technology, and inject new vitality into Singapore's digital economy development.

In addition, Alibaba Cloud also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Thailand Digital Economy Promotion Bureau. The two sides will jointly launch a Thai version of the online cloud computing learning platform, and Alibaba Cloud's training courses will also be included in the certification system of the Thailand Digital Economy Promotion Bureau. In order to improve service quality, Alibaba Cloud's cloud products will also be placed in the Thai government's digital product service platform, thereby providing more people with convenient learning resources.
It is worth mentioning that Alibaba Cloud has launched the "AI Empowering ESG Plan", which aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of environmental, social and corporate governance reports through AI technology and optimize energy efficiency management. Since May last year, Alibaba Cloud has opened the "ACA Generative AI Engineer Certification Course" to customers around the world, and has established training cooperation with institutions such as TOOT Media Solutions in the Middle East and Trends & Technologies in the Philippines to actively build a collaborative training ecosystem for IT talents.
Up to now, Alibaba Cloud has reached cooperation with 110 universities around the world, covering 25 countries and regions, and has trained more than 530,000 talents in total. Through this cooperation, Alibaba Cloud continues to deepen its talent training strategy in Asia and helps the sustainable development of the digital economy.
