Faraday Future (FF) recently successfully held the first FF Open AI Day at its headquarters in Los Angeles, focusing on the company's AI strategy, products and technical planning. At the meeting, FF announced the formal establishment of the world's first AI hybrid electric drive system company, Future AIHER Inc., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary, will focus on the design and development of super AI hybrid electric drive systems and super AI extended-range systems, providing comprehensive power solutions for extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs).

Super AI hybrid increase (AIHER) technology is described as an AI-driven fusion technology of "expanded range + hybrid" and "strong extended range, weak hybrid". The event was taught by FF founder and chief product and user ecosystem Jia Yueting and FX global CEO Max Ma. It also includes special links such as key AI technologies, challenges in the autonomous driving industry, and AI talent recruitment.
FF introduced its AI strategy in detail, with the core of which is the AI of the whole vehicle, creating an independent research and development and open integration of AI ecosystem. This strategy focuses on four major areas: user customized experience, ultimate AI computing performance, open source co-creation and open win-win. The company's AI product development plan is divided into four stages: from large-modal access and basic voice assistants, to multi-modal interaction, to building an AIOS platform and opening up APIs, and ultimately continuously optimizing the model and expanding commercial applications.
In the future, FF plans to accelerate the launch of three core AI products: super AI hybrid growth system, AI cockpit intelligent body and open source end-to-end model aiDriving, which will be used in FX's future mass-produced models.
