The Beijing Cyberspace Administration of Information Technology recently issued the latest registration information announcement on generative artificial intelligence services. According to the "Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services" and relevant provisions, Beijing has adopted a registration management method for generative artificial intelligence applications or functions that directly call registered large model capabilities through API interfaces or other means, allowing these services to be online and provided to users.
As of March 14, Beijing has added 34 new generative artificial intelligence services that have been registered, bringing the cumulative number of services that have been registered to 46. These services cover multiple fields, including well-known products such as Xiaomi AI search, Xiaomi AI writing, and Monica. The launch of these services marks a further improvement in Beijing's regulatory and service capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence.
For generative artificial intelligence applications or functions that have been launched, the Beijing Cyberspace Administration of China requires it to publicize the online number obtained in a prominent position or product details page. This measure aims to enhance transparency and ensure that users can clearly understand whether the services they are using have been legally registered, thereby protecting their rights and interests.
