In today's competitive business environment, sales teams face unprecedented challenges. To stand out in the market, they need efficient tools and resources to support their work. However, different teams have different needs, with some having difficulties finding potential clients, while others need additional support when completing transactions. It is in this context that Regie.ai, a startup company, came into being, is committed to providing comprehensive empowerment to the sales team through the combination of artificial intelligence and humanized communication methods.
Regie.ai’s founding team consists of two industry veterans. Matt Mirren and Srinath Sridal co-founded the company in 2021. Their vision is to build a content platform based on generative AI to empower sales teams, not replace them. Sridal has worked as a software engineer at Google and Meta, and has accumulated extensive technical experience; while Mirren was once the vice president of T-Mobile, managing the national sales team and having a deep understanding of the sales process.

Since its inception in 2022, Regie.ai’s product line has expanded from its initial marketing copywriting generation service to a wider range of areas. Today, the company offers a range of AI-powered tools, including sales sequence builders and collaboration assistants, which can help sales teams create personalized information and sales strategies. By integrating the communication process of phone, email, and social media into one system, Regie.ai significantly improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
Sridar further explained that Regie.ai is able to provide the sales team with the best communication strategy advice by analyzing website visits, interactions and intent data. Regie.ai can make the best decisions based on the specific situation, whether it is automatically followed through AI or the sales representatives personally intervene. Sridal pointed out that there are currently two extremes in the sales empowerment industry: one is solutions that rely entirely on AI, and the other is traditional software that has not been innovated for many years. Regie.ai’s goal is to find a balance between the two and provide truly valuable support to the sales team.
As a San Francisco-based company, Regie.ai has attracted several well-known companies including Crunchbase and Copado as customers. Sridar revealed that the company's annual recurring revenue increased by 300% last year. To further expand the business, Regie.ai recently completed a $30 million Series B round led by Scale Venture Partners and Foundation Capital, bringing the company's total financing to $50.8 million. This funding will be mainly used to scale the team, especially in the areas of engineering and customer success, to better serve growing customer needs.
