Samsung has recently injected more AI capabilities into its mid-range Galaxy A series models, launching three new Galaxy A56, A36 and A26, focusing on "super smart" experience. These new phones are equipped with multiple AI imaging features, including Best Face, a dynamic photo expression replacement tool, similar to Google Pixel's Best Take, which can optimize photos when subjects blink or line of sight shifts. In addition, improved object removal tools, photo filters, and Google's Circle to Search feature (Circle Select Search) have also been launched, providing users with a more intelligent and convenient shooting experience.
In terms of hardware, all three models are equipped with a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate full HD Plus screen, which is an improvement from the 6.6-inch and 6.5-inch of the previous A55, A35 and A25. The A56 is equipped with an upgraded Exynos1580 chip, the A36 uses Snapdragon 6Gen3 chip, and the A26 focuses on cost-effectiveness. All three models have built-in 5000mAh batteries, among which the A56 and A36 support 45W fast charging and are equipped with a larger heat equalizer to improve performance. It is worth noting that the A26 has added the IP67 dust and waterproof grade for the first time, further enhancing its durability.
In terms of system support, the new phone is pre-installed with Android 15 and promises to provide up to 6 years of operating system and security updates, far exceeding the previous generation model. In terms of price, the Galaxy A56 is priced at $499 (about £499), the A36 is $399 (about £399), and the A26 is $299 (about £299). The A36 will be exclusively available at Best Buy on March 26, the A26 will be available on March 28, and the A56 will be launched later. Samsung's move aims to further consolidate its competitiveness in the mid-range market through decentralization of AI functions and hardware upgrades.
The new Galaxy A series phone launched by Samsung this time has not only improved its hardware configuration, but also comprehensively upgraded its AI functions, bringing users a more intelligent and convenient user experience. Whether it is shooting, searching or system updates, these new phones demonstrate Samsung's strong strength and innovation capabilities in the mid-range market. With the launch of these new phones, Samsung is expected to further expand its share in the mid-range market and attract more consumers to choose its products.
