SVN server and client installation tutorial
What is SVN? What's the use?
SVN is the abbreviation of Subversion. It is an open source version control system. Compared with RCS and CVS, it adopts a branch management system, and its design goal is to replace CVS. Many version control services on the Internet have been moved from CVS to Subversion. To put it simply, SVN is used to jointly develop the same project and share resources. That is to say, for example, a team of five people, each of whom is responsible for a module, and five people can practice in different corners of different places. As long as the finished module is updated before uploading to the svn server, the project can be automatically fully integrated. In other words, team development is more convenient.
