Recently, the company's project encountered this problem. Tomcat can be opened, but the visit cannot be accessed to the 8080 homepage. After searching for information online, the problem was finally solved. I will record it here, hoping to help colleagues who encounter the same problem!
Step 1: Double-click tomcat in eclipse service to pop up the interface
The second step is grayed out by default, you need to remove the deployed project before modifying it.
Step 3: Change it to Use Tomcat installation
Step 4: Save. If you cannot save it, the project is still running. Just close the project and try again!
