When javascript calls window.open to open the website, an error was reported by IE browser: The system has been scheduled to shut down, and the prompt is as shown in the figure:
After searching on Baidu, it was all done automatically. You can check this post: Weird JS, the system shutdown error has been planned.
So I switched to Google to search for relevant English content. Someone has encountered this question on serverfault.com. The satisfactory answer is quite reliable: IE8 script error 800704a6?
The code copy is as follows:
The only information I've been able to find on this error is from Josh Poley's MSDN blog.
1190 0x800704A6 A system shutdown has already been scheduled. ERROR_SHUTDOWN_IS_SCHEDULED
However, the message implies that you get this when trying to schedule a shutdown. The only thing I can think of is that an installation/Windows update is waiting for a reboot.
You say that you can't see updates in Add/Remove programs - have you checked the "Show updates" option is checked?
Other posts that mention this error are similar in nature to yours.
It mainly talks about the system being updated or installed with relevant software or patches, and it needs to be restarted before it can take effect. So the error in csdn above was solved inexplicably, and it must have been restarted.
