Recently, Zhejiang Shenfu Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Shenfu Technology") announced that it had successfully completed a Pre-A round of financing of tens of millions of yuan, led by Shanghai Houyi Capital. The financing proceeds will be mainly used to further develop AI models, introduce technical talents and market expansion. It is worth mentioning that Shenfu Technology has received an angel round financing from Zhejiang Kunxin Investment in March 2024, with the funds also being tens of millions of yuan.
Founded in April 2023, Shenfu Technology focuses on providing AI solutions to the clothing industry, aiming to solve the problems in clothing design and plate making through large-scale model technology, thereby reducing design thresholds and R&D costs. Founder Wu Weiwei has nearly ten years of working experience in the clothing design industry and has rich supply chain resources. The other founding members of the company are also from well-known companies such as Tencent and Google, and have accumulated rich experience in the fields of clothing design and AI.
Clothing design and plate making are usually two separate links, and the designer and plate making engineer are each responsible for different tasks. Shenfu Technology uses AI technology to break the communication barriers between the two. The company has currently launched two AI models that focus on clothing design, "Craftsmanship and Deep Learning" and "Jinxiu Qianshe". Among them, the AI plate making tool for painting clothes will be officially launched in January 2025, aiming to help fashion designers independently generate CAD plate making after completing the design, greatly improving work efficiency.
Wu Wei said that the traditional plate making process requires repeated communication between designers and plate makingrs, which is inefficient. Through clothes and clothing tools, designers can generate more patterns in a short time, achieving only 2 to 3 pieces a day. The version has been increased to 20 to 30 versions a day, and the efficiency has been increased tenfold. The goal of Shenfu Technology is not only to optimize the design and plate making process, but will also promote the overall digital transformation of the clothing industry.
In the future, Shenfu Technology also plans to carry out more cooperation with domestic leading Internet platforms and clothing brands to explore new application scenarios, in order to provide core technical support for the next generation of consumption scenarios in the clothing industry.
