"Dream Island", a subsidiary of China Literature Group, recently announced that it has officially started independent operations, marking the entry of this virtual interactive entertainment platform based on AI technology into a new stage of development. Zhumeng Island focuses on providing female users with an immersive companionship experience, and meets users' emotional needs through innovative virtual interaction modes. At present, the platform has completed a new round of financing with an amount of more than US$10 million. Investors include strategic investors such as SenseTime Guoxiang Fund and China Literature Group, providing strong financial support for its future development.

Zhumeng Island was originally incubated by Xiaoxiang Academy, a female-frequency online literature platform under China Literature Group. Since the opening of testing in August 2023, it has quickly attracted nearly five million registered users, of which 80% are young women. Users can create their own "dream person" on the platform and interact with virtual characters created by other users. Through the precise matching mechanism, users can establish in-depth connections with their favorite "dream person", experience a variety of gameplay including chat, phone calls, interactive plots and circle of friends, and create a personalized virtual social experience.
It is worth mentioning that Zhumeng Island’s user-side revenue has basically covered model costs, showing its strong commercialization potential. In order to further improve the content experience, Zhumeng Island and China Literature Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on IP characters. China Literature Group will provide the platform with rich copyright and authorized content for online literary works to train virtual IP character models, thus bringing users more diversified and high-quality interactive content.
