In recent years, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) has been rapidly expanded. To meet more needs, it adds many extended functions. Designing novel and attractive web pages has increasingly relied on Java applets (small programs), embedded scripts, frames, plug-ins and other extended HTML functions. These extended HTML functions can not only further format text, but also embed programs, animations and other interactive elements, transforming the once static homepage into a new and wonderful picture that can be used by any homepage maker. Give full play to your imagination and design a charming homepage. Below I will introduce several hypertext tags used to enhance the functionality of HTML pages. These tags are increasingly used in web design.
1.〈script〉 tag<script> is an HTML tag used to mark javascript and vbscript programming. Its format is as follows:
〈script attribute=attribute value〉javascript or vbscript program source code〈/script〉
You can insert as many <script>...</script> tag blocks into the page as you like. The <script> tag has a variety of attributes (such as event, for, language, src, etc.), the most commonly used of which is the language attribute, which is used to specify the language type of the script, such as "javascript" or "vbscript".
2.〈applet〉 tagThe <applet> tag is a special tag used to insert Java applet into the page. It has a variety of attributes. The general attribute format of the <applet> tag is as follows:
〈applet attribute=attribute value〉〈/applet〉
Its various attributes are used to define the path, file name, location, size and running parameters of the java applet in the page.
3.〈object〉 tagThe <object> tag can be used not only to insert activex controls into the page, but also to insert other ole objects, such as images, documents, animations, applets, etc. Its format is:
〈object attribute=attribute value〉〈/object〉
Its various properties are used to set the type, path, size and position displayed on the page of the inserted object, etc.
4.〈param〉markAfter using the <object> tag to insert an activex control or other object into the page, sometimes it is necessary to pass parameters to the object or control, in which case the <param> tag is used. This tag does not have a corresponding end tag 〈/param〉, and this tag is only valid in the 〈object〉 tag. Its general format is:
〈param name=*value=*valuetype=*type=*〉
The meaning of each attribute is: name is the name of the parameter; value specifies the value of the parameter; valuetype specifies how to represent the value of the parameter; type specifies the media type.
5.〈embed〉markThis tag can be used to embed multimedia files in the homepage, such as movies, sounds, virtual reality languages (vrml), etc., but at this time, a plug-in for playing the corresponding multimedia files needs to be installed in the browser. The 〈embed〉 tag behaves differently in each plug-in. Its general format is: 〈embed src=″url″〉.
6.〈bgsound〉 tagThis tag is used to insert background music into the page. Its format is:
〈bgsound src=″url″loop=″*″〉
Among them, src is used to specify the address of the wav file, and loop sets the number of loop playback times.
