Making these realistic gauze effects is very simple, just make a brush, draw on the picture, then add filters and adjust the saturation.

First, let's create a brush and set the brush parameters.

1. Create a new file with 400*400 pixels and transparent background.

2. Select the "Free Pen Tool" and draw a wavy line.

3. Select the "Brush Tool" and set the pixel to 1. Right-click "Working Path" in the "Path" panel - select "Stroke Path" - select "Brush" in the dialog box - OK.

4. Click the mouse in the blank space of the "Path" panel (note: be sure to click the mouse once), click the menu "Edit - Define Brush Preset" and name the brush "Ribbon".
