Pget.exe é uma caixa de ferramentas da linha de comando .NET inspirada no Git e BusyBox que expõe a API .NET por meio de comandos intuitivos e uma API de alto nível. Ele fornece comandos para instalar, consultar e expor os pacotes de nuget, explorar arquivos .nuget Pacakge, explorar arquivos .NET Assemblies ou em arquivos de montagem GAC - GAC, gerar biblioteca ou documentação de montagem com comentários XML e assembléias de consultas no GAC. Além disso, fornece ferramentas para gerar Guid e consultar XML.
Objetivo:
Por que pget?
O PGet foi criado porque as ferramentas de linha de comando existentes não possuem todas as funcionalidades fornecidas pelo Visual Studio e pelo Console do Gerenciador de pacotes, como metadados de pacote de exibição, pacotes de pesquisa no Repositório Nuget, exibir metadados dos pacotes do repositório local ou repositório de projetos ./packages e mostrar metadados e arquivos de arquivos de pacote nuget. O PGET também fornece recursos de compelas para explorar e navegar.
