Installation

 gem install 'crouton'

Usage

Besoin simplement crouton dans votre javascript et CSS:

 //= require crouton 

 @import ' crouton ' ;

Ensuite, utilisez la méthode render_crouton dans vos contrôleurs, toute option que vous passez sera convertie en message.

 class PostsController < ActionController :: Base

  def update
    if @post . save
      render_crouton notice : 'Saved'
    else
      render_crouton errors : @post . errors
    end
  end
end

Enfin, trouvez un bon endroit dans votre HTML pour le Crouton et ajoutez la classe CSS .crouton-placeholder dans le conteneur de choix.

Personnalisation

Trois styles sont pris en charge des sentiers battus: informations , avertissement et danger . La durée de chaque message est respectivement de 1500, 2000 et 3000.

Vous pouvez personnaliser les couleurs de ces trois styles en définissant les variables SASS suivantes:

• $crouton-info
• $crouton-warning
• $crouton-danger

Vous pouvez également créer vos messages personnalisés:

 render_crouton Crouton :: Message . new ( :hint , 'You can double tap for more info.' , duration : 5000 ) , placeholder : '.custom-crouton-placeholder'
