linux / windows encrypted chat, sharing files, sharing content (markdown or html), TCP encrypted tunnel
Please use the deb version, download the deb package and install it with the apt command.
Installation command: apt install ./powerchat-x86_64.deb
The distribution test platforms are ubuntu18.04 and debian9.8. Other platforms can compile them by themselves if there are any exceptions.
Compiler: go compiler 1.11 or above, vala compiler 0.40 or above
Compiling the graphical interface (ui) requires vala-0.40 or vala-0.42. Tested with vala-0.38, it runs abnormally after compilation, and other versions have not been tested.
Compilation dependencies: glib2, gtk3, gee, json-glib
Personal website Users can provide web services to all contacts by simply running the client. Users can open the web page provided by the other party by simply clicking the WEB button on the right of the contact name in the我的朋友list on the left. You can use the default function to provide your personal blog or take some effort to configure your own special website.
By default, a built-in personal Blog service is built-in. When the visitor opens your homepage, it will browse three types of files .html , .htm , and .md in HOME/ChatShare directory. You can be classified by directory, and directories starting with _ will be hidden to store your pictures, other files, CSS, JS scripts and other resources.
Friends who truly understand website design can configure their personal website locally and then use this client as a proxy for contacts to access. Just set up the corresponding port for proxy.
An encrypted TCP tunnel is formed between the two clients, which can be used to play games and use LAN tools.
