Stackicons

Stackicons is a repository that aims to store a collection of icons of major stacks, applications, tags, badges, SO and sources used in development projects. The icons are mainly available in SVG format, facilitating their use in different projects and contexts.

Use

You can use Stackicons icons to add a visual touch to your projects, whether on web pages, mobile applications, documents or any other application that requires the visual representation of technologies and tools.

How to contribute

If you would like to contribute to Stackicons, follow the steps below:

1. Take a fork of this repository and clone it to your local development environment.
2. Create a new branch to make your changes:

    git checkout -b minha-contribuicao
   

3. Add the new icons or update the existing ones. Be sure to follow the nomenclature and file format guidelines.
4. Make the commit of your changes:

    git commit -m "Adicionando ícones de tecnologia X"
   

5. Send your changes to the remote repository:

    git push origin minha-contribuicao
   

6. Open a pull request in the original repository. Be sure to provide a clear and concise description of your changes.

The Stackicons team will revise their contributions and, if approved, will be mixed with the main repository. We thank you in advance for your valuable contributions!

Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to follow when adding or updating the icons to Stackicons:

• All icons must be supplied in SVG format.
• Use descriptive names for icon files, for example, react.svg , angular.svg , python.svg , etc.
• Organize files in folders based on their categories, such as stacks , applications , tags , badges , fonts , etc.
• Make sure the icons look consistent and easily recognize.
• Avoid the use of copyright or trademarks registered logos unless you are allowed to use them.
