It is divided into the default font Monu and the pseudonym body QuQi . This font is designed to suit the system text/web page display (compressed woff2 web fonts are provided and fine-tuning is done), especially matched with Microsoft's black (and bold). Actually, this is my own default font (it will be updated so frequently)
Although two fonts can be merged into one, the problem is not technology but art: the two fonts UPM (units per em, unit points included in each word) are different, and the default is 1000 pseudonym 2048. No matter who turns whom, the conversion will inevitably be lossy to the character curve.
Releases MY1L/QuQi

Monu
QuQi
This name comes from a mixture of Montserrat and onum , currently checked that there is no duplicate name and will not collide with other font names.
Although the font is modified by JulietaUla/Montserrat v7.200, it is not suitable for using the original font name after I have changed it. If there is no special explanation below, all of them are added functions. The choice of this font is because it is full of capital English, which is visually harmonious with Chinese characters. It is far better than the elegant black in English when it presents a large number of "capital English with Chinese characters".

Full-width symbols, Greek and international phonetic symbols are added in bold, ϩ is added in all 。 - (Someone actually used full-width minus signs in the title of the song) etc. Now the web fonts are packaged separately.Q_ offset and related OT characteristics. Regularly add full-width numbers, and full-width symbols that are not punctuated in Chinese but are commonly used, supplementing the capital full-width English.Probably the most distinctive modification.
It is necessary to ensure that the direction of quotes can still be distinguished under small characters (there are too many people who can't see the "quotation mark" in reverse and cannot see it yourself), and to ensure that the large characters are not ugly, and to ensure that the thickness of the dots and strokes is not abrupt compared to other characters, and to ensure that the adaptation of Chinese and English is between Chinese and English - because there are no full-width curved quotes, the same pair is used in the unified code... I had to adapt to English through kern while ensuring the Chinese effect.
Some of the original fonts are a bit ugly, and they are modified or simply re-drawn @*JPQRLJabdru and other symbols related to numbers (less bold changes). However, Cyrillic homomorphic letters still remain in the original font for later use.
Digital styles only retain tabular oldstyle and set to default. I wrote an article to modify and make homemade fonts: better display time/score (magic tea) and introduce digital styles in detail.
““ ”” kerning distance related to the currency symbol is deleted.:•· The problem of over-squeezing space of about 3 characters. The thickness and position of all characters are considered to be coordinating with the Monu English part and the Yahei Chinese character part at the same time.
Yahei's stars are not only ugly but also very thin. I drew stars that were almost the same as those of the elegant black strokes. Moreover, this star is designed to distinguish bold even if it is solid.
Has a new (Unified Code 11.0 (June 2018)) half-star symbol, 2 semi-solid stars ⯨⯩ semi-hollow stars ⯪⯫ (It is normal to not see, indicating that your system lacks a font that can be displayed)
Consider that many people like to use U+2B50 WHITE MEDIUM STAR acts as ☆, then add this hollow star that is as wide as the Chinese character.
To solve ʯnɯɯəɹ display, add 3 international phonetic extension characters U+02AF ʯ ,U+026F ɯ ,U+0279 ɹ (The original font already has ə)
ɑɡ and U+02AE ʮ .ɑ but don’t like the default double skin a please tell me, you can make a font with the default ɑ for you. The original font has only 4 pieces of Greek for symbolic purposes: ΔΩμπ (there is uppercase ΔΩ but not lowercase δω…) I have supplemented and reused some commonly used ones, and the style is consistent with the original font.
Ψαβδζξςσω , because of the unique character style, it is easy to see something wrong with other fonts, so I can only draw it by myself. For example, δ was originally drawn by imitating symbols such as 6б§ (now my drawing skills have improved). Some may lack kerning.ΑΒΓΕΖΗΙΚΜΝΟΠΡΤΥΦΧγεκνοτ , although the individual shapes are incorrect, the kerning is correct. The basic capital Greek has been completed from the 8th edition, and the 10th edition has added a large number of additional items. If you have any needs for complete Greek, please come to me, because I can't help but draw characters that no one uses, so I'll give me some motivation.
Speaking of the font candidate mechanism displayed on web pages, English fonts only contain English punctuation, which will lead to the same full-width (usually black) and English symbol shapes different from those of English symbols. So I made Chinese punctuation.
。〈〉《》!(),:;?⦅⦆ etc., as well as some punctuation and combinations. ⦅⦆ is automatically ligated to adjust the kerning such as ((())) without manual typing.,。 Location reference Siyuan simplified word version.~ full-width wavy is related to East Asian punctuation U+301C 〜 wave line, it is placed in the font QuQi. The subscript brackets and corresponding subs feature are added, corresponding to the subscript of the "barrage number mark" of a certain B-site plug-in.
From the 4th edition, full-width numbers ( lnum & tnum writing method) were added, and the regular style was added full-width English. Full-width English is handwriting, which occupies the width of Chinese characters but the characters are not equal in width, so there are a lot of gaps on the left and right. I try my best to increase weight and lose weight to make MW and NU look similar, and it is easy to distinguish between full and half-width English and spaces. Maybe suitable for vertical rows.
Dr. ███, this is a perfect match for SCP black bars in Chinese and English: complete, aligned and dense horizontal square elements.
Some characters are also shown in the update record, and will not be listed repeatedly here.
OpenType features, special font layout function, hereinafter referred to as OT特性.
The OT features supported by this font are calt ccmp kern liga mark mkmk subs sups , and the following only introduces the parts I added.
Although most people don’t buy professional layout software, the browser is a "professional web layout" software that everyone has, and it is very convenient to test OT characteristics. If you can't try the following effect, it means that the browser may be too old.
Q is the only capital letter to "stretch your right foot" out of the baseline (and like j is the stretched left foot). If the right foot is too long, it may poke the character on the right, so many fonts are simply made into short-legged Q.
But I don't need to compromise. The OT feature can predict the characters on the right. Similar fonts include Libertine using liga . When you encounter Qu , you directly replace it with Q_u combined characters (because Q is often followed by u in English)
This font is stronger than Libertine in this regard. Using calt , Q will selectively extend the foot according to the right character and English.
As shown in the figure
"QuQi", if you don't stretch your i when you encounter it, you won't be mistaken for Qj .
Many fonts have Chinese punctuations that are Chinese characters in width, occupying a large gap. There is actually something wrong with this. Looking back at the elementary school Chinese language, there are educational writing compositions that should be written in one grid. Software like Word also has the function of squeezing punctuation. After all, most Chinese fonts do not have this consideration.
First, I arranged some Chinese punctuation points that I might encounter to make full-width punctuation characters, and second, I used kern to shorten the kerning distance and took a two-pronged approach.
kern will significantly shorten the gap between the book titles 》《 There are no problems" and "There are no problems" in the book. You can use this to try whether kern takes effect.。。。 ,,, 。。。 The habit of replacing ellipsis...You can initiate Issues here to provide comments and suggestions. The original font is Julieta Ulanovsky, an Argentine. I noticed that it is impossible to distinguish Cyrillic: U+0472 Ѳ "FITA" and U+04E8 Ө O" (now different), and it is from many ІӀӏ (U+0406, U+04C0, U+04CF respectively) that seem to be not very different... But if the Argentine thinks there is no problem, I don't need to change it. Please give advice if you are familiar with Cyrillic.
I don’t understand how to write notes. If the notes ♩♪♫♬ is drawn inaccurately, please let me know.
If someone who doesn't like a certain ligature, if it is a layout software, "text" should have the option to turn off, or insert a U+200B "〇wide space" between the ligatures to break the ligature. If it is a web page, add font-feature-settings: "kern" 0; this one is enough, you can finely set it to only switches with one pair and not affect the others.
If you want to use it as the default font of the (non-programming) editor, it is recommended to add a multi-line string named "Monu" to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionFontLinkSystemLink , and copy the contents to Segoe UI, roughly. The bold text is "Monu Bold" or "Monu BoldC", copy the Segoe UI Bold.
Before the 8th edition: Bold is used less, so it is modified relatively less. The two bold styles are exactly the same, except for a little bit - they were perfect. Generally, the software will automatically switch to Monu Bold as long as it chooses to bold Monu. However, Chrome is different from Firefox. It does not recognize CSS "Monu Bold" and will only call Monu, so it is divided into BoldC ("C" means Chrome or CSS). This is a separate font with the name "Monu BoldC", but the layout software will still classify it as the BoldC sub-family of Monu.
The proportional pseudonym supports dotted ccmp mark , containing decorative quotation marks ❛~❠ and some East Asian punctuation marks. It may appear in the Japanese font area of the software font menu, and the name may be displayed asクッキー☆ (Bold isクッキー★ ), which is designed considering that the font is completely free of English or may not be able to display a preview of the font name. The disadvantage is that it will be displayed as 2 different fonts - although I can solve it, the reason for not solving it is the same as "BoldC".
Thoughts: Chrome is really bad, Firefox does not have any font problems in general.
There is a fairly complete full/half-wid switch OT feature fwid hwid , which is not enabled by default by the browser, and requires manual writing of CSS calls. Proportional characters can be converted to half-width characters. Of course, this part of the unified code does not need to be included. I put it in the private area, including half-width quotes, and you can use font management software to copy the private area characters.
In fact, the decorative quotation marks ❛❟ should be placed in Monu, but the original design intention was to solve the problem with QuQi's fonts. These 6 fat quotation marks were designed according to 2048 units...
Somehow, some systems always force the star font to be Segoe UI Symbol, which is not a font problem and cannot be solved.
I want to add the international phonetic tone height symbol ˥˦˧˨˩ , but I found that I had to introduce a bunch of tone hyphens, which would make the font bloated and give up.
