(Original name: Kose Font/ Kose Font/ Kose Font/ Kose Font)
A Chinese Font derived from SetoFont. A Chinese font derived from Seto font.
Seto Fonts are produced by Japanese amateur font designer Seto ぞ, supporting JIS first to fourth levels, supporting traditional and simplified Chinese (part). The latest version is version 6.20 on September 24, 2014, and the original author has not updated it for a long time.
Later, Max launched the Inland font based on the original "Seto Font", which filled out the 4,808 commonly used characters listed by the Taiwan education department, and added common characters in Minnan and Cantonese to make up for the shortcomings of commonly used characters in traditional Chinese.
However, this cute open source font still lacks some simplified Chinese characters, which may cause some inconvenience for mainland users.
Therefore, I started the "Setou Inner Sea Font Simplified Completion Plan", aiming to make up for the simplified Chinese characters lacking in Setou fonts. Xiao Lai fonts are a continuation of this plan.
This font project was originally named "Kose Font" . Later, since many people labeled "Se" as "Lai", they simply removed "Xiang" and changed the name to "Kose Font" .
This font is a simplified Chinese cultural improvement of Seto font. It uses the original components in Seto font to supplement the missing Chinese characters in the original font. It is mainly Chinese characters in GB2312 and "General Standard Chinese Character Table". The remaining Chinese characters, proverbs, and special symbols are completed by cjkFonts. There are currently 20,992 Chinese characters in the basic CJK area, 6,592 Chinese characters in the expanded area A, and scattered Chinese characters in the expanded area B~I.
This font can display all Chinese characters within the range of implementation level 2 in GB 18030-2022, as well as all Chinese characters in the "General Standard Chinese Character Table" (total 8105), to meet the needs of mainland Chinese users. In addition, it can display the syllables of Japanese Kanna, Proverb (Korean, Korean) and special symbolic fonts that can be displayed in Siyuan bold.
In addition, the Japanese font is added, retaining the original Japanese style of "Seto Font". The Japanese version retains the original "Kosefont-JP" name and is no longer updated and maintained. It can be downloaded in the "TTF (Japanese)" folder in this warehouse.
