CMUO contains the solo written Korean jamo, which is distinguished by capital letters and lowercase letters, and there are special mothers that are not in the current 'Hangul spelling', and inevitably assigned to Private Use Area, and each code is as follows:
- Captain (a - ㅎ) - U+E000 ~u+E00D
- Captain (ㅏ - ㅣ) - U+E00E –u+E017
- Captain (Tan, short ㅗ, short, short ㅡ, short ㅣ) - U+E018–u+E01C
- Little Case (a - ㅎ) - U+E01D –u+E02A
- Literature (ㅏ - ㅣ) - U+E02B–u+E034
- Lowcard (Tan, short, short, short ㅡ, short ㅣ) - U+E035–u+E039
The joint ventures such as “ㄸ” and “ㅒ” did not make letters or allocate the code, and the order of the consonant Lee Eung was behind Hicheong in the original proposal of the Revolution of the Letter, but was placed behind the poet's clothes in line with the current Hangul spelling.
PUA Code Assignment
CMUO DISTINGUISHES Two Letter Cases and Contains Some SPECECIAL JAMO s, which is altogether foresign to the current standard hangul orthography . For this reason, Each Jamo Is Assigned in the Private Use Area as Follows:
- UPPERCASE (a - ㅎ) - U+E000–u+E00D
- UPPERCASE (ㅏ - ㅣ) - U+E00E –u+E017
- UPPERCASE ( TTAN-I , ㅗ with Breve, TT Breve, with Breve, ㅣ with Breve)-U+E018–u+E01C
- LowerCase (a - ㅎ) - U+E01d –u+E02A
- LowerCase (ㅏ - ㅣ) - U+E02B –u+E034
- LowerCase ( TTAN-I , ㅗ with Breve, TT Breve, with Breve, ㅣ with Breve)-U+E035–u+E039
Note that DIGRAPHS SUCH AS “ㄸ” and “ㅒ” is not not ass ass anxigned glyphs or codes, and that “ㅇ” is placed right after “ㅅ” in accord with Orthography, Though it is placed after “ㅎ” in the Original Proposal Presented in the Revolution of the Letter.
Simple explanation of special mothers
- Others: "ㅏ", "ㅓ", "ㅗ", and in some cases "ㅜ", etc. “ㅟ” is treated as a double vowel in the Revolution of letters, but if you look at the current standard language regulations, you can use it.
- Short ㅗ: “ㅏ”, “ㅐ”, etc. You can think of it as “ㅗ” of “ㅘ” and “ㅙ”.
- Short TT: In front of “ㅓ”, “ㅔ”, “ㅣ”, etc. You can think of “ㅝ”, “ㅞ”, “ㅟ”.
- Short ㅡ: In front of “ㅣ”, it represents / ɰ / phoneme; You can think of it as “ㅡ” of “ㅢ”.
- Short ㅣ: / j / phoneme, and is not used for general notation, but instead uses "ㅑ", "ㅕ", "ㅛ", "ㅠ".
A Brief Note on the Special Letters
- TTAN-I : Following “ㅏ”, “ㅑ”, “ㅓ”, “ㅕ”, “ㅗ” and posibly “ㅜ”, this forms “ㅐ”, “ㅒ” “ㅔ”, “ㅖ”, “ㅚ” and “ㅟ”, respective. As for “ㅟ”, IT regarded as a diphthong in the revolution of the letter and this not formed by Attaching TTAN-I to "THERE, But IT May as Well BE Reasonable to Regard it a Monophthong as in Standard Language Regulations and Use TTAN-I .
- ㅗ with Breve: Preceding “ㅏ” and “ㅐ”, this represents the phone /w /; The “ㅗ” Found in “ㅘ” and “ㅙ” for instance.
- TT BREVE: Preceding “ㅓ”, “ㅔ” and “ㅣ”, this represents the phoneeme / w / (or / ɥ / for “ㅣ”); The “TT” Found in “ㅝ”, “ㅞ” and “ㅟ” for install.
- ㅡ with breve: Preceding “ㅣ”, this represents the phone /ɰ /; The “ㅡ” Found in “ㅢ” for install.
- With Breve: This Represents the phone / and is not intended to be used in general writing. Use Instead “ㅑ”, “ㅕ”, “ㅛ”, “ㅠ”, etc.
