We explain keywords related to web typography and accumulate and share knowledge in the same field.
In recent years, interest in web typography has been increasing, with Japanese websites attracting attention as web fonts. However, compared to Western countries such as English, the know-how has not accumulated much and there is little discussion at present.
Given this situation, this project will cover keywords from the perspective of "practical" so that people involved in web production can refer to them when working on typography. We hope that our knowledge of web typography will become a place where we can accumulate and share it in Japanese. (The content such as article content, title, table of contents, etc. may be updated at any time.)
This project welcomes you to participate in the discussion. If you have any questions, questions, or suggestions regarding the items or content, feel free to make an issue. We will continue to update the discussion while reflecting the discussion.
Updates began irregularly in January 2019, and with the 6th release in September of the same year, the basic terms were covered and the addition of terms will be stopped for now. We welcome any proposals for revisions and additions in the future, so please feel free to make an issue.
