History
In addition to the undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs, we will continue to make a project that can be considered as a revolution in Türkiye with Ford Otosan in April 2008 and we have started a project with Ford Otosan in April 2008. With our developing education staff and 2 years of computer engineering departments, the faculty person has shown the highest number of SCI broadcasting. With the unique view of the Lake of Sapanca and wide dormitory facilities, our campus will also be happy to spend some of the important years of your life.

Sakarya University Department of Computer Engineering started education in 1994-1995 academic year. It aims to deliver the latest information to our dear students by preparing and updating the course content and programs in accordance with the needs of the age and adding career academicians to the field of informatics and thus to ensure their strong participation in business life.
It is clear that the need for computer-communication technologies and computer engineers, the locomotive of the globalization process, will continue for many years. In order to create the most effective answer to this need, the Computer Engineering Department provides training on the structure, development and effective use of computer systems; It aims to educate entrepreneurs and civilized engineers, which are equipped with contemporary technological knowledge and society awareness, sensitive to environment and professional ethical values. In addition, in order to support students' foreign language learning, an optional year preparation program and the students who have successfully passed this program are provided with English -supported training at a rate of thirty percent.
Graduates of the Department of Computer Engineering are given the title of computer engineer and graduates can work in the establishment and operation of information-processing system in various organizations and in software development applications. In general, software experts, network designers, system analysis, application programmer, information processing centers, director, founding and manager, database manager, computer -aided industrial systems design and realization of the design and research, research and development engineer can take tasks such as.
