This repository is used to collect crackmes that are circulating so that it can be used in learning reverse engineering. This repository can be accessed by anyone, both by the internal community Reversing.ID and outside the community.

This initiative is based on the case that befell the crackmes.de.de so that the crackmes.de server is frozen and more than thousands of crackmes disappear. Panic occurred but then began to scattered many sites that provide mirror crackmes. This initiative is pure as a forum for the learning process of reverse engineering. Reversing.ID through this repository does not campaign for illegal acts so that the misuse of this repository is not our responsibility.

We want our internal circles, we can have a place that we can make a reference to get a crackmes. Besides mirror from crackmes.de, we also try to collect crackmes from other sites. We hope that these sites do not suffer the same fate as crackmes.de but if that happens, we hope that our contributions can be useful.

What is crackme?

Crackme is a small program that is designed or created as a victim in reverse engineering. Crackme is made by other reverser as a legal way to do cracking software because there is no IPR (intellectual property rights) in it. Crackme has a different level of difficulty, some are easily solved and some are difficult, depending on the protection performed. Crackme who approaches real-world software challenge usually has a similar algorithm that is implemented in commercial software.

Crackme can be divided into several categories, if you look at the characteristics of the crackme or goal to be achieved.

• Crackme eliminates the protection that exists in the program so that the program can run smoothly without any obstacles or limitation (trial)
• Keygenme created a program that will produce a valid serial number and can be accepted by the program.
• Unpackme unpacking the main program module compressed or described with certain methods.

How to download?

For now you can do a clone repository, or download it manually. In the future we will create a script to facilitate this.

How to contribute?

This is an open project.

If you want to donate crackmes or find out some crackmes that are not on our list, you can:

• do pull requests.
• send an email to pengurus [at] reversing.id
• tell on telegram @ReversingID

You can also help the host of all crackmes so that downloads can be done directly. Inform us the server address that is a mirror and we will add it to the list below.
