All video data comes from the Internet, and Animeko itself does not store any video data. Animeko supports two major data source types: BT and Online. The BT source is the public BitTorrent P2P network, and everyone on the BT network can share the resources they have for others to download. Online sources are content shared by other video resource websites. Animeko itself does not provide any video resources.
In the spirit of mutual assistance, Animeko will automatically make seeds (share data) when using BT sources. The BT fingerprint is -aniLT3000- , where 3000 is the version number; UA is similar to ani_libtorrent/3.0.0 .
Animeko has its own public welfare barrage server, and barrage sent in the Animeko application will be sent to the barrage server. Each barrage is bound with the Bangumi username to prevent abuse (and consider the addition of reporting and blocking features in the future).
Animeko will also obtain related barrage from the bounce play, and the bounce play will also obtain barrage from other barrage platforms such as Bilibili, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and Bahamut. Each episode of the drama can have a number of barrages ranging from dozens to thousands.
