DragonOS Dragon operating system is a 64-bit operating system that is aimed at cloud computing lightweight scenarios, completely autonomous kernel, and provides Linux binary compatibility. It is developed in the Rust language to provide better reliability. Currently, in the Rust operating system field, DragonOS ranks among the top three in the country on Github.
The DragonOS open source community was founded in July 2022 and is completely commercially neutral. Our goal is to build a completely independent, open source, high-performance and high-reliability server operating system, and create a completely autonomous and controllable digital future!
DragonOS has excellent and complete architectural design. Compared with other systems of the same size, DragonOS supports virtualization and has certain advantages in device models, scheduling subsystems, etc. Currently, we are vigorously promoting cloud platform support, riscv support and other work, as well as the porting of compilers and application software. Strive to achieve large-scale application of the production environment within 5 years.
DragonOS is currently developing rapidly under the community-driven development. DragonOS has now implemented about 1/4 of the Linux interface. In the future, we will provide 100% compatibility with Linux and provide new features.
