Project description

Platform for hiring home services in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It allows users to publish and search for available services, connecting those who need services with local suppliers.

Technologies used

Spring Framework: For the creation of the Backend application.
Spring MVC: for the management of controllers and business logic.
Spring JPA: For the management of data persistence.
JSP and JSTL: for the generation of dynamic content in the views.
CSS and Tailwind: for the design and presentation of the user interface.
Figma: For the design of the user interface and the creation of prototypes, facilitating the collaboration and visualization of the IU elements before its implementation.

Functionalities

User registration and authentication: Users can register and log in to the platform.
Publication of services: Users can publish services they offer.
Search for services: customers can search and request services available on the platform.
Service offers: Suppliers can offer their services for customer applications.
Rating system: Users can qualify and leave comments on suppliers after completing a service.

Facility

Follow these steps to configure and execute the project locally:

Clona the repository:

  git clone https://github.com/sheidiz/CodingDojo-Project.git

Configure the database:

Configure the database in the Application.Properties file in the SRC/Main/Resources directory.
Make sure you have an MySQL database in execution and update the credentials in the configuration file.
