I graduated from a 985 computer science class in 20 years. Although I was a professional class, I still focused on self-study during my college years.
During college, I struggled with many technologies, such as Java, Android development, Raspberry Pi, Python crawlers, and later became keen on the underlying computers and wrote Mini OS, CSAPP Labs, etc.

Along the way, I deeply feel that the course syllabus of the computer departments of colleges and universities is outdated and the textbooks are also poor. Compared with the rich course experiments, teaching assistants, and automation evaluations of computer schools such as MIT and CMU, there is a lack of coding practice.
Many teachers are still stuck in "PPT", and their homework is mostly Word. Some students don't know about development tools such as Github and Linux when they reach their junior year. If they follow the school's pace, they are likely to face "unemployment after graduation."
